U.S. Militia officers sword N.C.O. pattern circa 1850 showing Roman helmet pommel, cross guard with union shield, finely etched blade with U.S. at center and original brass tipped leather scabbard. The grip is flutedbone. The condition is near fine. The blade shows its original bright polish with just some slight scratching and aging. The leather on scabbard shows a tight seam minor scuffs, slight losses normal aging only. Astrong 9.5 on 1-10 scale. Est.; $600-$1,200.
