"U.S." Marked Stevens Model 67 Pump Shotgun

 U.S.  Marked Stevens Model 67 Pump Shotgun
Stevens Model 67 Pump Shotgun with "U.S." and "U.S. GOV'T" markings. The shotgun has a commercial blue finish with wood stock and forearm and a black rubber recoil pad. The barrel is fitted with a ramp front sight and a folding express style rear sight. Detachable sling swivels are fitted to the butt and barrel. The left side of the barrel is roll-stamped with the two-line Stevens logo. "US GOV'T" is stamped in small letters behind the ejection port and an "S" is stamped in front of it. An "H" is stamped on the right side of the receiver above the trigger guard. The left side of the receiver is stamped with a "US/Anchor" is stamped on the upper edge, a "P" on the lower edge and the serial number, "E611995" is stamped above the trigger guard. The right side of the butt is branded with the marking: "US/643" parallel to the buttplate. There is a 1/2-inch wide band of red tape on the stock. An oval rag tag numbered "17" is fixed to the bottom of the pistol grip. Available references on U.S. military shotguns do not indicate that Stevens Model 67 Shotguns were procured by the U.S. military. We offer no opinions as to the authenticity of the U.S. markings.

Condition: Excellent. The shotgun retains 98% of the original blue finish. The stock and forearm are also in excellent plus condition and are free from handling and storage marks.
