U.S. M1 semi-auto carbine by Rock-ola, .30 cal., 18” Rock-ola barrel, military finish, flat bolt, flip-up two stage rear sight, wood stock, no magazine, olive green woven sling, #4596694 with olive green two section U.S.-marked magazine pouch (no magazines) over butt stock dated 1943 by J.S. & S. Co. This gun is in overall very good + condition showing considerable military finish, fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good + wood stock with a large “293” stamped onthe underside of the forestock, “R” stamped on the flat of the semi pistol grip, crossed cannons cartouche on the right side of the butt stock and “RMC” stamped in the sling well of the left side of the butt stock; one of the more difficult M1carbine makers to obtain and desirable to boot!
