U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Underwood, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb and dated 11-42, military finish, wood stock, olive green woven sling with metal oiler, no magazine, #1352480;accompanied by a U.S. marked green canvas soft case. This gun is in overall very good condition with considerable military finish remaining, flat bolt marked “916”, early small serial numbers under the maker name onthe rear of the receiver and larger same serial number in front of the flip-up two stage rear sight; very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings, very good wood stock with “P-U” inspector mark in the slingchannel flat.
