U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Saginaw S’G’, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb proof and dated 3-44, flat bolt, flip-up two stage rear sight, no magazine, early “I” cut out on right side ofstock with metal oiler, wood stock, tan woven sling, #1800031; with U.S. marked soft case. This gun is in overall very good condition showing considerable military finish to metal surfaces, very good to fine bore, crispaction, sharp markings, very good wood stock with “S’G’” in square cartouche and crossed cannons on right side of butt stock, “IR-IP” marking on flat of sling channel.
