U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Irwin-Pedersen, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb proof and dated 7-43, flat bolt, flip-up two stage rear sight, military finish, wood stock, tan woven sling with metal oiler, no magazine, #1786985; accompanied by a U.S. marked soft case. This gun is in overall very good condition showing considerable military finish on metal surfaces, very good bore,crisp action, good markings, very good wood stock with “IP” in square cartouche and crossed cannons on right side of butt stock with two small “w” ‘s in squares stamped in the sling channel on the flat.Irwin-Pedersen’s are one of the rarest variations to find in any condition and are highly sought after by collectors.
