U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Irwin-Pedersen, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb proof and dated 11-43, military finish, tan woven sling, metal oiler, flat bolt, flip-up two stagerear sight, no magazine, wood stock, #1769390; accompanied by a U.S. marked soft case. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing considerable military parkerized finish on metal surfaces, verygood bore, good action although slightly tight on closing, good markings, very good wood stock with IP in square cartouche and crossed cannons on right side of butt stock and IR-IP with flaming bomb markings on flatof sling channel. Irwin-Pedersen M1s are one of the rarest variations to find in any condition and are highly sought after by collectors. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
