U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Irwin-Pedersen, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Buffalo Arms with flaming bomb proof and dated 8-1943, military finish, tan woven sling, metal oiler, flat bolt, flip-up twostage rear sight, import-marked, no magazine, wood stock, #1777227; accompanied by fleece-lined tan canvas soft case. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of its parkerized military finish,very good bore, crisp action, good markings, very good wood stock with early “I” cut out for oiler, stock is overall good to very good with “IP” in square and crossed cannons on right side of butt stock and what appears tobe “IR-IP” stamped on the flat in the sling channel. Irwin-Pedersen M1’s are one of the rarest variations to find in any condition and are highly sought after by collectors. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
