The serial number is marked on the top of the receiver wall on the left side followed by the inspector initials "HN". Pinned blade front sight and adjustable "ski slope" type rear sight graduated to 1400 with 1-6 on the base and "HC" marked on the left side. One piece straight grip stock with single barrel band. Very good plus. The barrel retains some streaks of original blue finish and the receiver retains some patches blue, with the overall balance a smooth brown patina. The trigger guard retains 97% fading original blue finish with some light spotting. The buttplate retains much of the blue with a patch of minor oxidation. Much of the original nickel finish remains on the forend cap. There is a hairline crack near the upper tang, otherwise stock is very fine with some scattered minor dings.
