U.S. Historical Society Single Action revolver, .45 Colt cal., 4-3/4" barrel, beautifully engraved with gold trim and gold portrait on left side of frame, number 35 in series; showing Roy Rogers, left side of thebarrel engraved "King of the Cowboys Single Action Army .45", pearl grips with inlaid shield on right, which reads in script "50 years of entertainment and public service 1940-1990", silver finish with gold trim, inpresentation display type book casing. With certificate from Ernie Worthington, a life-long friend of Roy Rogers who sat on the Board of the Roy Rogers/Dale Evans Museum. Each item in this collection was numbered 35; a statement from Mr. Worthington to this effect, and also recants that he was the owner of a grandson of the famous Trigger, Roy Roger's wonderful Palomino.
