Lee Commemorative Pistol” copy of a Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 caliber, 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue finish, gold ornamentation, wood grips with medallion on leftgrip of Lee’s profile, #409 in like new condition showing little handling; accompanied with a presentation French lined wood case with reproduction eagle mold, Robert E. Lee medallion and cap tin with Lee’s signature facsimile on thelid; the case is in fine condition with a leather inset in the lid decorated with the General astride his favorite horse. Also with this lot is a letter from the U.S. Historical Society, a Certificate of Authenticity numbered to this gunand other documentation from the Society. (Exempt/Modern-percussion).
