U.S. Harpers Ferry Model 1842 percussion musket, 42” barrel, full length stock, sling swivels, lockplate dated 1845. This gun is in overall good condition with a general grey patina on metal surfaces and scattered erosion, good action, dark bore, good wood stock with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; remainders of two inspector cartouches on left side of stock above trigger assembly; flared iron ramrod present.
