Very good. Overall the musket has a smooth brown-gray patina with some scattered minor pitting and minor flash pitting. The lock and buttplate have a smooth dark brown patina with some deep pitting on the buttplate. The stock is fine with a large chip absent near the middle barrel band and a few chips absent near the upper tang, with some minor dings and scratches and a few dents. "WJ", "P", "79" and "I-T EJ" are markings hand inscribed on the underside of the stock around the trigger. The bayonet is good with a smooth dark patina and some minor pitting (mostly on the socket).
