U.S. Harper’s Ferry percussion rifle, .58 cal., 33” barrel with bayonet lug, wood stock, flared iron ramrod, brass patchbox and mountings, #NVSN. This gun is in overall very good condition showing some scatteredbrown finish remaining on barrel assembly which is dated 1855 (lockplate is dated 1852); bore is near fine, action is crisp, rear sight is an old replacement; wood stock is good with an old approx. 6” long lossalong the right channel of the barrel and some scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage; nice patina to brass mountings.
