Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 7 x 7.5, February 4, 1870. President Grant orders the Secretary of State to affix “the Seal of the United States to a Warrant for the pardon of Francis A. Vorhees.” Triple-matted and framed with an engraved portrait of Grant looking at a map to an overall size of 24.5 x 18. In fine condition, with a horizontal fold passing through the upper portion of Grant’s signature.
