Unsigned original 11.25 x 9.75 albumen photo affixed to a slightly larger mount, featuring Grant and his family on the front porch of his cottage on Mount McGregor in New York. Photo was originally taken in June 1885, and bears an inherent copyright notice to the lower right, “Copyright 1886 by the U. S. Inst. Photo Co.” Some toning to right border, light scattered spotting to image, and lightly trimmed edges to mount, otherwise fine condition.
