Most pages are multi-signed, with some back to back. Signers include: U. S. Grant, as president, cabinet members Benjamin H. Bristow, Edwards Pierpont, Alphinso Taft, George M. Robeson, Marshall Jewell, and Zachariah Chandler; Supreme Court Justices M. R. Waite, Nathan Clifford, David Davis, Ward Hunt, William Strong, Noah Swayne, Samuel Miller, Stephen Field, and Joseph P. Bradley. Other signers include future president James A. Garfield, John Logan, Ambrose Burnside, James Blaine, John Sherman, and Nathaniel Banks. A Fitzhugh Lee ALS is also tucked into the back of the album. In good to very good condition, with partial separation to hinges and spine, back cover partially separated, a few loose pages, old tape repairs to front cover, crazing and surface loss to covers, and missing spine. A unique collection from the 18th President of the United States, his most trusted advisors, and comrades.
