An Apollo 16 patch and a printed Descartes quote are affixed at the lower right. Apollo 16 landed in the moon's Descartes Highlands. Young and Duke walked on the moon. Flags that have traveled the 500,000 miles to and from the moon are rare and extremely desirable.
