U.S. Eagle head Officers' sword with original scabbard and checkered bone grip showing blued and gilt blade circa 1820-30’s. The sword measures 36-1/2” overall with 31” blade. The blade shows a slight curve with no makers name. The blade retains 50% plus original blue and gilt. The blade is in very good condition with some minor aging and spotting. The scabbard and mounts show 50% plus original gold with natural patina andsome minor dents. The grip is also very good with normal aging. Est.; $750-$1,500
