Featured in this lot is this United States Department of the Interior aluminum stock trail sign circa 1970s. The Department of the Interior manages public lands and minerals, national parks, and wildlife refuges and upholds Federal trust responsibilities to Indian tribes and Native Alaskans. Additionally, Interior is responsible for endangered species conservation and other environmental conservation efforts. The sign shows a triangular shape and features a gray / blue background with a mountain in the background and a river and a tree in the foreground. The top of the sign reads, "Entering / U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management" in black lettering. There are two mounting holes, one on the top and one on the bottom. The sign shows good condition overall with some wear from its age and life outdoors, but no signs of obvious damage is present. The sign measures 12" L x 10 1/2" W.
