Manufactured in 1881, and subsequently restored. The factory letter confirms the serial number, .45c caliber, blue finish with the stocks and barrel length as "not listed". The remarks state that 7 1/2" barrel and walnut grips were standard at that time period. The revolver was delivered to the U.S. Inspector at the Colt Plant on the 24th of October, 1881 as one of 150. Complete with a set of two piece stag grips.
