U.S. Civil War era Maynard Second Model carbine, .50 cal., 20” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood butt stock, #15467 in overall very good condition showing brown patina on barrel with traces of muted original blue in protected areas, some original case colors on the receiver with balance gone to silvery toning; good bore, action and markings; overall good wood stock with two clear cartouches on the left side of the butt stock; saddle ring and bar retained.
