U.S. Civil War era Joslyn Model 1864 carbine (2nd cartridge Model), .52 cal., 22” barrel, blue finish, iron mountings, wood stock, #6476 in overall very good condition showing a grey patina to metal surfaces with scattered spots of erosion, very good bore, crisp action, very good markings and overall good to very good wood with partially visible inspector’s cartouche over saddle ring and bar; scattered numerous mars, dings, scratches and a couple larger old gouges from carry and storage.
