These are a pair of Star Steel Silver Cavalry spurs. The Star Steel Silver metal alloy was patented by German immigrant August Buermann. All of his spurs were stamped/ engraved with the Star symbol. In 1926, the Buermann company was purchased by one of the big 3 spur manufacturers, North and Judd. North and Judd used an Anchor as their stamp, and after the purchase, spurs were stamped with both the Star and Anchor symbols. These only have the Star and therefore are pre-1926 and more rare. These are made with a Silver/Nickel alloy and also have the original leather straps. Great Americana collectible in good condition.
