U.S. Artillery Sword with scabbard, hangar, and belt. The blade shows Ames manufacturing company, Chicopee, Mass address, US and ADK inspections and no date. The hilt shows ADK and TWR inspections. The blade is in very good plus to near fine condition with most of its original bright, just some slight erosion and pinprick pitting just starting and a slight amount of light cleaning with something like steel wool, but no polishing. The hilt shows a deep patina and is in good condition with just a few marks. The scabbard is good to very good with some cracking, small flakes, normal aging. Retains its tip and throat. The original to the period buff leather hangar is included with brass fastener but no buckle. The butt leather is good with some drying, staining, normal aging. 1850’s to Civil War era. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
