U.S. Army uniform set up including an enlisted tunic (jacket) with correct buttons and collar insignia (US and Infantry), shoulder patch signifying attachment to advanced section service and supply; label inside from manufacturer indicates made in 1918. Also included in set is a pair of enlisted men’s trousers with legging laces, a soft case, a set of web gear consisting of an ammo pouch belt, a web back pack (both dated 1918), a web mess kit pack with assorted items, an entrenching shovel holder and shovel marked “US”; a web canteen and cup carrier with canteen and cup, a U.S. bayonet dated 1913 w/sheath; also a gas mask bag inked “Carl Parks” with poor condition mask, a can of anti-dimming compound, an envelope containing information on use of the gas mask and a camouflage-painted metal helmet. Consignor states he bought the grouping from a family in the early 1990’s; a great lot of WW I artifacts! Est.: $150-$250.
