U.S. Army brass revolver storage device for hanging a Colt SAA cavalry model or Smith & Wesson Schofield in an armory or barracks setting; in overall very good condition with a pleasing dark patina. The device is a chain connecting a roundrod that fits into the barrel of the gun and a hook on the other end of the chain to support the frame; a ring in the middle of the chain would hang on a hook and the revolver would be suspended horizontally during times of storage. A greataccessory and used by the military from the Indian Wars period to WW I. Est.: $125-$250.
