U. S. 1850 pattern Officers sword by Ames, in good condition with its original Ames marked metal scabbard. The blade shows most of the standard etching, just going slightly light with some erosion and pinprick pitting,slight wear at the edge and makers panel lightly visible. There is some light pitting, mostly at the tip and ricasso. The wire wrapped sharkskin grip is good with opening at the seam. The scabbard shows abrown finish, some dings to the drag, light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting on the scabbard. The quillon is bent forward. Est.: $1,000-$2,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
