<td width="100%">
This is a classic Art Deco period cigarette case with U Penn's School Seal on the front in good condition. The date for the seal used here is between 1900 when it was started and 1936 when it was replaced. Such a case may have been a reward for graduation or perhaps sold by the university bookstore. Springs and locking mechanism in perfect working order. Black enamel has some bumps and scratches but is in good vintage condition. Interior concentric circle design a little worn in spots but still clear. Seal appears to be in its original condition. Has been left uncleaned. Material is probably silver-color over brass with no hallmarks. Note: Cigarettes were smaller in the early 20th century so this may serve well as a business card case instead.
