In part: “I appreciate very much your thought and kindness to me while I was in hospital in Boston. Relative to autographed picture, many years have passed since I retired and long since have exhausted supply of pictures. If you can secure one, I will be happy to do my part.” In fine condition. A surprisingly polite piece of correspondence from one of the most aggressive players of his day!
