Two World War II Nazi Officer's Swords with Sheaths and Portapees
1) F.W. Holler (Solingen) officer's sword, 32" single fuller blade, with the maker's mark on the left ricasso, Nazi eagle on the right languet, oak leaf decorated guard and pommel and a wire wrapped celluloid grip. With a green leather and silver wire portapee, silver acorn and a black painted metal sheath. 2) Eickhorn (Solingen) officer's sword, 33 1/4" single fuller blade, with "W.&L. SCHEBBER/ UNIFORMEN/ AACHEN" merchant mark on the right ricasso, Eickhorn on the left, "D.R.P." stamped on the guard, Nazi eagle on the right languet, wire and celluloid grip and lion head pommel with red eyes. Black leather and silver wire portapee, green and silver acorn and black painted metal sheath.

Condition: 1) Very fine, with a few light dings and scratches on the blade, a fine aged patina on the hilt with original gilt finish strongest in the engraving and protected areas, excellent grip, portapee good with some cracking and lost wire, and some scratching and areas of brown patina on the sheath. 2) Excellent, with light wear and dings on the blade, 70% original gold on the hilt, minor wire fraying on the portapee and scratches, paint loss, and areas of brown patina on the sheath.
