A) Standard barrel markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside highlighted in white. Flaming Ordnance bomb on the left frame side and butt is marked "U.S./ ARMY / MODEL / 1917 / No / 57 / 174" which is highlighted in white. "57174" also on cylinder and barrel, with assembly number "22845" on crane and frame. Fitted with smooth walnut grips and lanyard loop on the butt.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus original blue finish with some loss at the muzzle and the grip straps thinning to brown, along with a noticeable cylinder drag line. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

B) Standard barrel markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. Flaming Ordnance bomb on the left frame side and butt is marked "U.S./ ARMY / MODEL / 1917 / No / 49 / 811". "49811" also on cylinder and barrel, with assembly number "13519" on crane and frame. Fitted with smooth walnut grips and lanyard loop on the butt.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 75% original blue finish thinning to a brown with a smooth brown patina on the grip straps and trigger guard and some gray patina on the top strap and at the muzzle, along with some minor edge wear and some pin point pitting on the top strap. The grips are fine with some chipping on the bottom edges and a series of minor pressure dents on the bottoms, along with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
