1) Oregon Trail by James Earle & Laura Fraser (Amer. 19/20th Cent). This great husband and wife sculpture commemorates the Western passage of the American people going out to seek their good fortune/ good life in Oregon. The oxen drawn wagon is being led by the husband while the wife is holding the reins of the wagon. The bright sun is in the foreground over the Plains they are heading towards. James Earle Fraser is known for the Legendary End Of The Trail Bronze & his wife for other monument statues. The Plaque is signed on the bottom "Fraser Sculptors". No foundry mark and measures 16 1/2" in diameter and weighs 9 Lbs. Very good condition. 2) Bronco Buster Bronze Plaque after Frederic Remington (Amer. 19/20th Cent). The fine cast bronze shows the famous image of the bronco buster cowboy being lifted by the bucking horse against a Western landscape with rolling hills. Signed Frederic Remington in the lower right corner. The plaque measures 12"x15" and weighs 20 Lbs. In very good condition.
