<B>Two War With Spain Pictorial Mugs</B></I>. The first mug features a hand colored transfer of the USS <I>Maine</B></I> under steam above a riband that reads, “U.S. Battleship Maine, Destroyed in Havana Harbor Feb. 15th 1898”, 4”. The second mug has a relief effigy of Admiral Wm. T. Sampson, U.S.N.. The mug stands 5.75” high, is marked “Germany” on the bottom, and is covered in multicolored relief strap work.
