Two WWII Military Longarms -A) Japanese Type 99 Rifle with Bayonet   B) Nazi Proofed Italian Carc
A) Manufactured at Kokura, with inverted "V" front sight, rear sight with anti-aircraft wings, clear mum on receiver without a dust cover. Complete with bayonet with metal sheath.

Condition: Very fine, with 90% plus original blue finish remaining with the balance a smooth brown patina with some scatter minor spotting and pitting. The barrel has a patch of minor pitting and there is some varnish on some of the metal surfaces. The stock is very good with a long indentation of the right side on the buttstock, along with numerous minor gouges, dings and scratches.

B) Nazi Proofed Italian Carcano Model 1938 TS Carbine
The left side of the barrel has the serial number, the right side is marked "942-XX", and the top of the barrel has the number "2". Fixed sights, folding bayonet, and stock numbered to the gun. The underside of the stock has an eagle/WaA proof. Rifles marked in this fashion were used by the Italian Social Republic (Repubblica Sociale Italiana, RSI), the Fascist puppet state propped up by the Nazis after September, 1943.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% original blue finish remaining with some faint plum patina and a few streaks of gray on the barrel. The stock is very fine with a couple minor dents and some scattered minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
