Two U.S. Marked Bolt Action Training Rifles A) U.S. Marked Harrington and Richardson M12 Bolt-Action
Manufactured from 1981-1986, with detached globe front sight and attached Redfield Palma rear sights, with two mounting blocks on the barrel at the breech and two line, two block address and model markings on top, and "U.S." marked on the frame over the serial number. Smooth pistol grip stock, with an adjustable rail mounted sling swivel on the underside of the forearm, adjustable trigger, fixed sling swivel on the butt and a solid rubber H&R buttpad.

Condition: Very fine. Retains 97% blue finish. The wood has only mild handling marks and dents. The action is excellent.

B) U.S. Property Marked Mossberg Model 44 U.S. Bolt Action Training Rifle with Sling
These rifles were produced at the end of WWII and were subsequently used until the early 1970s and were intended to be a low cost substitute rifle to help conduct marksmanship training. The top of the barrel is marked "O.F. MOSSBERG AND SONS, INC./ NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A./ 44 U.S. 22 L.R./ U.S.PROPERTY" and the top of the receiver is marked "U.S. PROPERTY/ SER. NO. 159676". Equipped with a dovetail blade front and Mossberg "S-100" Microclick target rear sights. The stock is the correct hardwood version with sling swivels and serrated steel buttplate. Complete with a military style "DCM" and "MRT/March 1984" marked leather sling.

Condition: Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish remaining. The barrel has had a protective coating on it and majority of it still remains with a few light surface scratches as well. The wood is excellent with minor pressure marks near the wrist, toe and heel on the buttstock. Light handling marks overall. Markings are clear.
