A) About good with shortened barrel. The barrel has a mixture of brown and gray patina with a series of minor dings near the muzzle. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth dark patina with a mottled gray patina on the trigger guard. Overall there is some scattered minor spotting and some minor pitting, with extensive deep pitting on the buttplate. There is a minor crack near the lock plate screw, otherwise the freshened stock is very good with some scattered minor gouges/gashes and dings.

B) Poor. The metal surfaces have a smooth dark patina with much of the applied protective coating remaining with some minor spotting. The relic grade stock has some absent chips. The barrel band sling swivel is absent. The hammer screw is a replacement and action functions fine.
