1) U.S. Mansfield & Lamb Model 1860 sword, 40 1/2 inches overall with a 34 3/4 inch double fuller blade dated 1865, a brass 2-branch guard with "15" stamped on the underside of the guard and "143" on the pommel and knuckle bow" and a wire wrapped black leather grip. With an iron sheath. 2) U.S. Ames Model 1840 sword, 41 1/4 inches overall with a 36 inch double fuller blade dated 1845, brass guard and a leather grip.

1) Fair, with a mixed gray patina on the blade, a number of dings and dark spots on the brass, and mild handling marks overall. The sheath shows a brown patina with spotting. 2) Fair, similar to A with the grip wire absent and the leather cracked and scuffed.
