A) The Steyr Hahn was originally introduced as a commercial pistol, but was quickly adopted by the Austro-Hungarian, Chilean, and Romanian militaries. This pistol is Austrian military marked with the serial number on the left side of the slide and frame, the left rear of the slide is marked "STEYR 1916" followed by a small "K" and large "S". The small "K" also appears on the left rear of the frame, on the safety lever, extractor and hammer. The upper right side of the trigger guard is marked "W-n, Austrian eagle proof. 16". The frame and slide numbers match. Fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% plus original finish with areas thinning to a smooth brown patina on the slide, bottom of the frame and grip straps. The grips are also very fineoverall with a couple of moderate bruises on the upper left panel and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

B) Roth Steyr Model 1907 Semi Automatic Pistol
The Model 1907 has a rotating barrel locking system and was the first self-loading pistol adopted by the Austro-Hungarian army. Marked "WAFFENFABRIK STEYR" on top of the rib, the serial number on the right side of the frame and the acceptance mark "Wn eagle 9" is on the rear of the frame. Fitted with serrated walnut grips.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% slightly faded original finish with some minor wear on the muzzle, mild thinning on the right side of the barrel. The right side rear of the frame has an area that has been cleaned with an abrasive material leaving some scratches in the metal. There is some mild pitting in the same area. The grips are very fine with a few scattered minor dents and dings. The action is excellent.
