This is a request for a meeting in Douglas's room. Uneven left edge, very fine condition. Douglas, the Northern Democratic Presidential hopeful, was hot on the campaign trail when he wrote here to New York's notorious Civil War mayor. The second item is a clipped signature, “<I>from S. A.
