Two Spur Trigger Revolvers A) F.D. Bliss Brass Frame Pocket Revolver
Produced circa 1863-1864. Cone and top strap groove sights, with the top of the barrel marked "J.D. BLISS. NEW HAVEN - CT". Matching serial numbers on the underside of the barrel, the left side of the frame under the grip, and inside the grip panels, with assembly number "822" on both sections of the cylinder. Fitted with smooth two piece rosewood grips.

Condition: Very fine, with 60% of the original high polish blue finish with areas of smooth brown patina, and 70% of the original silver finish with scattered light flaking and some "frosting". Vivid case colors remain visible on the hammer. Grips are very good with strong varnish, minor edge wear and scattered minor dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.

B) Whitneyville Pocket Model Revolver
Produced between 1871 and 1879. Blade and notch sights, with the two line address and patent marking on the top flat of the barrel. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, the cylinder, cylinder pin, butt and the inside of the left grip panel. Right panel is numbered "823". Silver finished brass frame, with checkered hammer, smooth spur trigger and smooth birds head grips.

Condition: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue and 85% of the original nickel. A brown patina is forming on the cylinder and cylinder pin, with light edge wear and spotting overall. An aged brass patina is visible on the grip straps, high edges and right side of the frame, with some minor pitting and handling marks. Grips are very fine, with light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
