Two Spur Trigger Hopkins & Allen Revolvers A) Hopkins & Allen XL Number 3 Revolver
Manufactured in the 1870s. German silver blade front and notch rear sights, with the two line maker and patent markings on top of the barrel and "XL. No 3. N.Y." on the top strap. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, cylinder, cylinder pin, left side of the grip frame and right grip panel. Checkered hammer and spur trigger and smooth birds head grips.

Condition: Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, which is intermingled with a mixed brown patina overall, along with some bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are very fine, with a small flat spot on either side and minimal pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.

B) Hopkins & Allen Model XL No 5 Single Action Revolver
Blade and notch sights, with the three line maker, model, and patent markings on the top strap. 5-round cylinder, with a knurled cylinder pin, checkered hammer and spur trigger, and smooth birds head grips, with a matching number on the inside of the right panel.

Condition: Very fine, with 85% of the original nickel finish, showing a brown steel patina on the high edges, scattered flaking on the cylinder, and scattered handling marks. Grips are slightly undersized, revarnished, with light scratches and varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.
