Two Solingen Production German Military Swords

1) Alexander Coppel sword, 38 inches long overall, with a 32 1/4 inch blade, fitted with a curved edge and rounded spine. Pierced-through steel guard, with a German-style eagle, "crown/script letter" proofs, and a ribbed finger rest grip. With an iron scabbard, marked "3.155" on the throat and "19.U.3.155." below. 2) Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co. sword with Bavarian decoration and unit inscription. 37 inches long overall, with a 31 3/4 inch curved single fuller blade, showing niter blue accented equestrian/martial etching on both sides, "Oskar Hamburger, 1. Esk. 1906-1909. " on the right and "3.Chevaur.Rgt.Herzog Carl Theodor" on the left. Pierced nickel guard, with dual folding guards and a Bavarian Lion and Crest, ribbed finger rest grip, and an iron scabbard.

1) Very good, with some mild spotting and handling marks overall, a few dings on the grip, and a mixed brown patina on the scabbard. 2) very good, light spotting overall, with strong nickel and blue on the blade, flaking and discoloration of the guard, cracks in the grip and a mixed brown patina on the scabbard.
