A) Blade and notch sights, with the one line barrel address and cylinder patents, and standard features. In a hardwood case with 9 rounds of vintage ammunition. With photocopies of provenance information that puts this gun with a Nebraska infantryman who participated in the Savannah Campaign, aka Sherman's March to the Sea. The accompanying factory letter verifies the serial number, variation, grips, finish, barrel length and that it was probably shipped on February 18, 1862 to Cooper & Pond Co., N.Y., N.Y..
