A) This five screw model has a Patridge front sight with white dot and adjustable rear sight. Pinned barrel and counterbored cylinder. Casehardened trigger and hammer. Checkered walnut grips with diamond inserts and S&W medallions.

B) There were 6,949 manufactured between 1909 and 1923 of this model. Features fixed front blade sight and adjustable rear sight on top of the solid rib. The barrel is marked on the top with Smith & Wesson address and patent, with the left side marked "SMITH & WESSON", and the right side marked "22 LONG RIFLE CTG". The Smith & Wesson logo is on the left side of the frame along with "MADE IN U.S.A.". Features a top break and functions exactly as the revolver models do. The hammer and trigger are casehardened, with all remaining parts blue, with walnut checkered grips.

A) Excellent with 97% blue finish remaining with finish wear on both sides of the barrel next to the muzzle and the edge of the trigger guard. There is a small ding on the left side of frame behind the cylinder. Case coloring is vivid. The grips are excellent but slightly long on the bottom, with crisp checkering.

B) Excellent, 98% plus finish remaining, thinning at the muzzle and sides of the barrel. Only slight scratches and dings on metal parts. Grips are in very good condition with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
