A) The top of the barrel is marked "ADDRESS SHARPS & HANKINS, PHILADELPHIA, PENN". The frame has the two line 1859 patent date marking on the right side and circular side plate on the left. Checkered hammer, smooth trigger, and checkered grips.

B) Produced between 1859 and 1874. Blade front sight, with rear sight notch in the straight breech. The two line Sharps patent marking is stamped on the right side of the frame. Smooth spur trigger, checkered hammer and smooth bird's head grips. Matching serial number on frame and barrel.

A) Fine. The barrel cluster has been cleaned and is a smooth silver gray. The frame retains approximately 85% of the aged silver plating with scattered minor flaking. Frame marking is weak, with a clear barrel marking. The grips are very good with some mild handling marks and some smooth wear (mostly on right panel) in the overall crisp checkering.

B) Fine. The barrel cluster retains approximately 50% original blue finish (strongest in the flutes) with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame retains approximately 50% original silver plating with the balance a smooth gray patina. "SM-1T-HC-C93360" is marked on the underside of the frame in electric pencil. There is a hairline crack on the left panel, otherwise the grips are fine with a couple mild "thumbnail" gashes and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
