1) Carl Eickhorn sword etched to the 6th Regiment, Thuringen Lancers. 37 1/4 inches overall, with a 32 inch single fuller blade decorated with scroll patterns and martial designs, with "Thuring. Ulanen Reg. No6" in a blue panel on the right side. Nickel finished guard, with folding cross guard and ribbed grip. With a black enamel finished scabbard. 2) Officer's sword, etched to Hanover Train Battalion 10. 35 1/2 inches overall, with a 30 1/2 inch single fuller blade decorated with martial designs and vinework, with "Mit Gott fur Kaiser und Reich" on the left and the unit marking in a blue panel on the right. Nickel finished guard, with a leather finger loop and ribbed grip. With a black enameled scabbard stamped "T.B.10./1./64." near the throat.

Condition: 1) Excellent blade, with some minor flaking and handling marks overall, a few dents on the edge, and mild spotting on the faded blue. Scabbard is good, with flaking and dents. 2) Excellent blade, with minor spotting and handling marks overall. Minor dings are visible on the edge. Scabbard is fair, with flaking and a slight bend above the tip.
