Two Richard Nixon Letters Signed "Dick" as U.S. Senator; each 10 1/2" x 8". January 22 and 24, 1952.

Both letters addressed to Mr. Paul C. Smith, Chief Editor of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Nixon writes, in part:

"I am coming out to San Francisco to speak before the Commonwealth Club on the 14th of February and hope that I shall have the opportunity to see you at least briefly at that time."

Also included is a carbon copy reply by Smith dated January 29, 1952.
