A) Manufactured circa 1863 to 1888. Two line address/Elliots patent dates on top of the barrel. Matching serial number on the frame and barrels. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Fine as period replated. The derringer retains 85% silver plated finish with scattered minor flaking and some light oxidation. The grips are also very good with a small hairline crack on the right panel at the escutcheon and a few tiny dings. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
- B) Manufactured from 1863 to 1888, this blue finished, four shot, .32 caliber pistol uses a cluster of stationary barrels and a revolving firing pin. The barrels are arranged in a square pattern, with "MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y." and "ELLIOT'S PATENTS MAY 29, 1860-OCT.1, 1861" markings. There is an "8" on the frame under the grip. German silver blade front and frame notched rear sights. The grip section is contoured so the butt rests on the ring finger. Fitted with smooth grips.

Condition: Fine. The barrel cluster retains 60% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame retains traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina showing some very light pitting on the right side. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
