1) 8 1/2 x 5 1/4" glued on card stock. Photograph by Chase. A little washed, but the main building still shows strong. Back of card is an ad for H. W. Wymon, dealer in watches, diamonds, and fine jewelry of Colorado Springs. 2) 7 x 4 1/2" glued on card stock. This photograph looks as if it were taken yesterday not 130 years ago! Photographer is Galbreaith, Harvey & Lyles of Manitou. Back is an ad of the city of Manitou - The Saratoga of the West. Iron Springs began to be visited in the 1870s, particularly the Ute Iron Springs. In 1880, a new Iron Springs Hotel was built. (Prag Collection)
